Location: DUMBO, NYC
Project Details: This full renovation of the designer’s own home was approached as both a personal retreat and a study in shaping space. Set within an irregular footprint defined by sharp angles, the design introduces softness through custom millwork and furnishings, creating flow and balance throughout.
Subtle architectural moves and integrated lighting define the living, dining, and kitchen areas without interruption. Custom millwork plays a central role, resolving the geometry while adding warmth, function, and continuity.
A restrained, tactile palette of warm woods, lime wash, and stone serves as a backdrop for a collection built over time. Vintage pieces and artwork sourced through travel bring depth and individuality to the space.
Custom furnishings, including a sculptural green chaise and a tailored bed, respond to the architecture while adding softness and comfort. Sheer drapery diffuses the skyline beyond, allowing light to move gently throughout.
The result is calm, collected, and deeply personal, a reflection of a love for art, design, and thoughtful living.
